No, personal care is very different from the other types of care you may be accustomed to hearing about. Our personal care communities provide a high level of resident care in assisting individuals with their medical needs, while providing residents the opportunity to relax and read a book in a quiet home-like environment, join other residents and watch the numerous entertainers that come onsite to perform at Serenity Care, or participate in our daily activities such as bingo, cards, board games, knitting club, current events, community games, etc. and everything in between.

At Serenity care, we are exactly what mom or dad needs. Our highly trained staff are ready to care for residents with many diagnoses such as dementia/forgetfulness, Parkinson’s, catheter and incontinence care, diabetics that use insulin or accuchecks, post congestive heart failure/stroke victims, COPD with the use of oxygen and/or nebulizers, hypertension, kidney disease, arthritis and so much more! Our trained and certified staff also provide medication management for the residents with a Director of Wellness that oversees all resident care.

Absolutely NOT!! At Serenity Care, our residents enjoy their independence and are highly encouraged to take full advantage of our beautiful sitting areas, activity rooms, living rooms, dining rooms, etc. and participate in our robust daily activity programs coordinated by a dedicated Activities Director.

YES! At Serenity Care, we have an open-door policy, meaning families can visit their loved one(s) onsite as much as they wish to and anytime of the day/night they wish to or families can take their loved one(s) out for lunch/dinner, home for family celebrations, a day/overnight stay, or away on a family vacation.

NO! At Serenity Care, all onsite amenities and services that a resident receives are included in one affordable monthly rate.
